Description
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager based in Ahmadabad to oversee accounting operations statutory compliance financial reporting and control functions. The role requires 10–11 years of relevant experience and a qualification of or MBA in Finance. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping taxation reconciliations payroll MIS reporting and coordination with auditors banks and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities including maintaining purchase sales payment receipt and journal entries.
- Ensure accounting compliance with accounting principles and applicable financial reporting standards.
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for management review.
- Handle GST TDS Income Tax and other statutory compliances accurately and timely.
- Coordinate with banks for related formalities documentation and reconciliations.
- Finalise accounts and coordinate with statutory auditors during audits and reviews.
- Reconcile bank statements vendor accounts and customer ledgers on a regular basis.
- Monitor receivables and payables ensuring effective collections and timely payments.
- Maintain payroll records and manage employee reimbursements and related entries.
- Prepare MIS reports and perform financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Maintain proper documentation filing and record retention for accounting records.
- Support budgeting fund planning and cash flow management activities.
- Monitor inventory valuation and costing where applicable and ensure accurate recording.
Qualifications
- or MBA in Finance.
- 10–11 years of hands-on accounting and finance experience.
- Proven experience with statutory compliance GST TDS and income tax matters.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with statutory compliance and taxation processes.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and accounting software tools.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
