Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance to manage accounting operations financial planning banking activities compliance procurement coordination and administrative functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong financial knowledge leadership skills and hands-on experience in statutory compliance budgeting audit coordination and working capital management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounts & Finance
- Handle day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate accounting entries in Tally Prime
- Perform ledger scrutiny reconciliations and finalization of accounts
- Ensure compliance with GST TDS Income Tax and other statutory regulations
- Coordinate internal and statutory audits and maintain audit documentation
- Manage customer invoices payment follow-ups and financial records
- Maintain proper electronic and physical documentation systems
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of financial information
2. Banking Import/Export & Compliance
- Handle import/export remittances and related banking documentation
- Manage bank-related activities including:
- Letter of Credit (LC)
- Bank Guarantees (BG)
- Foreign remittances
- Prepare stock statements CMA data and working capital reports for banks
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for:
- Credit facilities
- Overdrafts
- Loan documentation
- Ensure compliance with FEMA RBI guidelines and statutory regulations
3. Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare project budgets and monitor financial performance
- Manage forecasting budgeting and cash flow planning
- Review and approve vendor payments invoices and purchase orders
- Ensure proper fund allocation and liquidity management
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency
4. Procurement & Vendor Management
- Coordinate procurement activities and purchase approvals
- Handle vendor negotiations and procurement documentation
- Ensure purchases are aligned with project timelines and budgets
- Maintain transparency and compliance in procurement processes
5. Administrative & Operational Management
- Supervise daily administrative operations
- Coordinate with internal departments consultants auditors and CA firms
- Monitor warehouse checks inventory controls and operational compliance
- Support process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
6. MIS Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare periodic MIS reports and financial summaries for management
- Support internal and external audits with required reports and documentation
- Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements
7. Payroll & Employee Management
- Coordinate payroll processing and statutory compliance
- Manage PF ESIC TDS and related employee documentation
- Support manpower budgeting and performance incentive planning
- Handle team coordination and supervision activities
