About the role:

This role would suit a lawyer with experience in complex trusts estates succession planning or private client advisory work.

You can expect to work across:

• Estate and business succession planning for high-net-worth clients family groups and private businesses
• Complex trust structures trust law issues and trustee/beneficiary matters
• Asset protection intergenerational wealth transfer and business succession strategies
• Estate planning involving companies trusts SMSFs and broader family wealth structures
• Substantial estate and succession disputes including contested estates and family provision claims
• Matters involving tax commercial and trust issues often requiring a strategic and technical approach

You would be joining a firm where the work is sophisticated highly personal and often commercially sensitive with the opportunity to build deep expertise in a specialist area rather than being spread thin across a generalist practice.

The ideal candidate:

• 2 to 7 years PQE in trusts estates succession planning tax private client or related commercial advisory work
• Strong drafting technical analysis and client management skills
• Confidence working with complex structures family groups and high-value matters
• A genuine interest in private wealth trusts and succession work
• Strong attention to detail and a practical commercial approach
• Brings genuine energy and ambition to daily work

This could suit someone coming from a private client estate planning or estate litigation background who wants to move into more complex trusts and succession work.
