- SAP GTS Functional (Global Trade Services) similar to EWM/SD/MM
- Knowledge in Customs processes IT (Business processes advantageous)
- SAP SD & MM experience and extensive knowledge in EWM
- SAP Module configuration
- Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
- Flexibility to take up different tasks in the initiatives
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS:
- Familiar with tools such as Xsuite / Jira / Xray / confluence & Test automation
- Business analysis / understanding and designing templates
- Support preparations and execution of Go-live and testing phases
Duties & Responsibilities
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understand the business requirements preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documents and get sign-off from users for
- Business Blueprint document
- Setting up the organization structure of Materials Management and perform all relevant configuration for
- example Purchase Organization Valuation Area Plants Storage Location and Warehouse structure.
- Preparation of testing documents and perform internal testing
- Preparation of Master Data templates for various objects like Material Master Vendor Master Excise Master
- Info-records Source List and Purchase Orders.
- Integration testing with other modules
- Understand interfaces IDOC and RFCs processing
- Preparing the cut over strategy for GTS objects
- Preparing User manuals and conducting training to business process owners
- Go-live preparation and post Go-live support
- Interaction with clients through meetings calls and emails
- SAP Module Configuration
- Development documentation
- Analyse and solve SAP Module issues
- Conduct SAP Module process configuration
- Update and maintain all SAP Module functional documentation
- Analyze and scope End-user authorization roles
- Conduct Unit tests Integration tests and System Integration security tests
- Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
- Support the operational and functional teams with issues and provide a solutions-based approach
- International travel
- Recording routing and monitoring all reported incidents using ITSM to the incident management process.
- Liaising with other fix groups and other plant based or central support organisations.
- Taking ownership of incidents reported by users through to resolution.
- Adhering to documented escalation processes.
- Carrying out regression testing
- Interact with consultants of other modules
- User interface transactional solutions
- In the course of normal duties identify and report discrepancies in documented processes.
- Manage general queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with development/team leads on users access requirements new transactions role creation etc.
- Enforce SAP security and SAP development guidelines.
- Provision of technical security and authorizations support and guidance to both the business and the SAP
- support teams.
- At least 8 years SAP WM/SD/FI/CO (or GTS) experience
- Experience working in international teams
