We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join us in Japan as Senior ER Specialist supporting seven Amazon business lines including Amazon Entertainment WW Amazon Stores (WWAS) G&A Devices & Services (D&S) Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Ads IMDb Grand Challenge (AIGC) Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Customer Service (CS).
The ideal candidate for this position has effective communication and interpersonal skills that enable them to work successfully on a broad spectrum of employee relations issues and projects provide on-ground labour relations support building strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders across multiple functions while navigating complex organizational dynamics with professionalism and sound judgment.
Key job responsibilities
人事および従業員関係に関する問題の調査を行います具体的には申立人証人対象従業員へのインタビューの実施社内システムからのデータ分析事案の判定調査結果に基づく是正措置の提案完了した調査の文書作成などが含まれます複雑な事案については調査の主導と指揮を担当します個別の調査担当者が調査を実施する場合は調査方法に関するガイダンス指示監査監督を提供します
事案の傾向を分析しシステム的な問題に積極的に対処するための戦略的提言を人事部門に提示します
労使関係事項の主要な窓口として経営陣従業員労働組合代表者と緊密に連携しながら職場の懸念事項に対処し調和のとれた労働関係の維持に努めます
複雑な従業員調査についてビジネスパートナーHR teamCorporate and CS ER teams法務チームと協議協力します
専任チームと協力しながら日本におけるER関連プログラムの立ち上げと運営を支援します
また危機的状況にある重要な従業員関係の問題に対して迅速に対応することも求められますこれらは厳しい期限内での対応が必要となりますプロジェクトと危機対応の間で時間のバランスを取ることがこのポジションでの成功に不可欠です
勤務地は日本の東京です
Investigate HR and Employee Relations issues including conducting interviews with complainants witnesses and subject employees analyzing data from internal systems adjudicating cases proposing remedial actions based on findings and producing documentation for completed investigations. For complex cases this role includes leading and directing the investigation. When individual investigators conduct investigations this role requires providing guidance direction and audit oversight on investigation methods.
Analyze casework trends and produce strategic recommendations to the HR business to proactively address systemic issues.
The individual serves as the primary point of contact for labour relations matters working closely with management employees and union representatives to address workplace concerns and maintain harmonious working relationships.
Consult and collaborate with business partners HR team Corporate and CS ER teams and Legal teams on complex employee investigations.
Help set up and operate ER related programs in Japan working alongside dedicated teams.
The individual also will work reactively on critical employee relations issues that are crisis-oriented and can only be successfully completed within tight timeframes. Balancing time between projects and crisis-response is critical for success in the position.
The position is located in Tokyo Japan.

- 5年以上の人事労使関係調査または法律関連業務の経験 労使労政のケースマネジメント経験
- グローバルなステークホルダーとの協業経験
- ワードエクセルパワーポイントなどのMS Officeツールの使用経験
- 学士号
- Professional experience in using English and Japanese (writing reading listening and speaking required)
- 5 years of human resources labor relations investigative or legal experience
- Experience in case management of labor/employee relations work Experience in partnering with global stakeholders
- Experience in MS Office tools such as Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelors degree

- 労政に携わった経験 多様な組織環境カスタマーサービスコーポレートオフィス機能製造流通などでの経験
- グローバルなトレーニング/人事/労政の経験

- Bachelors degree in HR ER or related field of study
- Advanced degree or other specialized training in labor/employee relations Previous Employee Relations experience
- Previous experience in diverse organizational environments (customer service corporate office functions manufacturing distribution etc.)
- Global training/HR/ER experience
