Job Summary
Primary Purpose:
Serves as a teacher leader in specialized instruction and case management for students with disabilities. The program specialist facilitates professional development related to the school and districts instruction and curriculum goals aligned with demonstrated instructional/professional needs. As a leader and specialist the employee supports teachers and support staff in identifying developing and implementing curriculum assessment and instructional strategies designed to improve the learning of students with disabilities. Collaborate with administrators and teachers to collect and analyze data interpret and use it to guide instructional decisions.
