About the role
The Activities Instructor will be responsible for the delivery of recreational based group activities. This includes facilitating Hub-based activities (such as craft cooking games and others) and social outings (such as dining concerts community events and others) which fosters social connection and supports clients individual goals. The Activities Instructor is also responsible for safely transporting clients to group activities; this may include driving company vehicles and assisting on community transport buses.

Essential
- Certificate III in Home and Community Care Aged Care Disabilities or Individual Support or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in leading group-based activities.
- Ability to contribute and support a positive and engaging team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to work health and safety requirements
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health and/or Certificate III Individual Support (Age/Disability) or equivalent.
The successful applicant will have (or be willing to obtain):
- Current Drivers License and access to a reliable and insured vehicle
- Availability to a Smart Phone
- Working with Children Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
