Commercial Lines Producer Inside Sales Position
Job Summary
An established and growing independent insurance agency is seeking a motivated Commercial Lines Producer to join the team. This role is ideal for a sales-driven individual passionate about developing new business relationships delivering risk management solutions and building a long-term career within the commercial insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Generate new commercial lines business through outbound prospecting referrals networking digital marketing and community engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with business owners decision-makers and referral partners.
- Identify client exposures and recommend tailored insurance and risk management solutions.
- Prepare and present customized insurance proposals from multiple carriers.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through binding coverage and onboarding new clients.
- Collaborate with internal service teams to ensure a smooth client experience and strong retention.
- Cross-sell additional coverages and identify opportunities to grow accounts over time.
- Stay informed on industry trends market conditions carrier appetites and compliance requirements.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; commercial insurance sales experience preferred.
- Active P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance license in New York required.
- Strong communication relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated competitive and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage pipelines follow-up activity and prospecting efforts independently.
- Comfortable utilizing CRM systems and carrier quoting platforms; Applied Epic experience preferred but not required.
- Experience working with small to middle-market commercial accounts is a plus.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $42000 $52000 (commensurate with experience) commissions
- On-target earnings of $120K
