Compliance Manager, Amazon Shipping

Amazon Shipping is seeking a Risk Manager II to identify assess and mitigate risks across our operations. You will partner with business leaders to build risk management frameworks that protect customers employees and the company while enabling business growth.

In this role you will analyse complex business processes identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. You will work cross-functionally with operations finance legal and technology teams to implement risk controls and monitoring systems.

Key job responsibilities
> Conduct risk assessments across business operations to identify vulnerabilities and exposure areas
> Design and implement risk mitigation strategies that reduce impact while maintaining operational efficiency
> Build risk monitoring dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility
> Partner with business owners to embed risk management practices into operational processes
> Lead incident response efforts when risks materialize coordinating cross-functional teams
Develop risk management training programs for operational teams
> Analyze trends in risk data to identify emerging threats and opportunities for improvement
Present risk findings and recommendations to senior leadership with clear data-driven insights

- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Experience in compliance program management legal governance audit risk/loss prevention or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership
- Experience working in a high-stress environment
- Flexibility for occasional weekend work and overtime when required

- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Experience in program requirements definition together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
- Professional auditing qualification or similar risk or compliance credentials
- Experience in transportation or supply chain
