Job Summary
Your contribution to something big:
- Drive and shape global procurement strategies for material field purchasing within the automotive sector
- Define and implement consolidation and standardization strategies based on data analysis and market insights
- Manage supplier lifecycle activities including ramp-up and ramp-down phases ensuring supply continuity and risk mitigation
- Optimize supplier networks by developing innovative sourcing strategies and alternative solutions
- Lead bottleneck management activities ensuring material availability and minimizing production disruptions
- Negotiate frame contracts and lead sourcing processes from supplier selection to project awarding
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders up to executive level
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Masters degree in Engineering Business or a related field or equivalent experience
Experience
- Experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain within the automotive industry
- Proven experience in supplier management and strategic sourcing
Know-how
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of procurement strategies and supply chain processes
- Negotiation skills are a strong advantage
Languages
- Fluent in English
- German is a plus
