Your Role as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON):

  • Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing daily operations of the nursing department
  • Supervise and support nursing staff includingRNs LPNs CMAs and CNAs
  • Ensure compliance with all facility policies procedures and state and federal regulations
  • Support the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures
  • Monitor quality of care and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Assist with hiring training scheduling and performance evaluations of nursing staff
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to staff including care planning and documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated resident-centered care
  • Promote a positive supportive environment for residents families and staff
  • Ensure adherence to infection control safety andHIPAA regulations

What Were Looking For:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current LPN or RN license in the State of Ohio
  • Current CPR certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and nursing practices
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Compassionate calm and resident-focused approach to care
