Were looking for two (2) passionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our Community Participation team!

Working Hours: Shifts will consist of a scheduled rotation with mainly 8-hour shifts including days/evenings/weekends.
Hourly Wage: $28.99/ hour
Employment Status: 12 Month Contract


About the Role: As a DSP youll design and deliver meaningful community programming support individuals in their daily lives and foster a positive sense of well-being. Working in diverse settingsfrom community centers to outdoor parksyoull contribute to empowering individuals by building life skills and social connections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and facilitate community-based programs such as personal development basic life skills training social and recreational activities volunteering and other activities that lead to community participation
  • Participate in assessment goal setting and program planning for the individual
  • Provide support in all aspects of daily living as required including but not limited to personal care hygiene domestic skills education money management use of community businesses and resources recreation medical medications and safety
  • Collaborate with team members families and community partners.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and efficiently manage a caseload.
Qualifications:
  • Human Services Degree or Diploma preferred (e.g. DSW SSW CYW) or related field experience.
  • Knowledge of person-centered planning behavioral interventions and community integration.
  • Strong communication skills task analysis and program development experience.
  • Valid First Aid/CPR drivers license reliable vehicle and insurable.
