Spring 2027 Production Operations Student Co-Op

Spring 2027 Semester Production Student Co-Op opening (paid with housing stipend)- Searching for Production/Operations student for our plant in Muskegon Michigan

*A minimum of a 3-month assignment. Part-time employment (20hrs/week) for 6-months alsoqualifies.

Engineering Co-Op Summary

Supportproduction team with meeting expected production schedules and material quality while controlling plant costs. Must be able to relate to all personnel both hourly and salaried to promote a cooperative interactive relationship with all team members.

Essential Functions

Supporting the Production team with training initiatives (safety quality and operation) for hourly production employees

Promote proper housekeeping and ensure all work areas are clean maintained and safe at all times.

Make necessary production system transactions.

Responsible for tracking and supporting cost reduction efforts.

Assist in analyzing production data for establishing and documenting tasks

Provides support for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.

Assist with Production Operation department duties.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

Work with Production team to prepare coordinate and maintain schedules for Production schedules.

Work with operations to meet department goals.

Enrolled and completed 2 years accredited university ina related field of study (e.g. Business Engineering Material Science Manufacturing Management)
