Primary Purpose:
Assist with daily office operations. Answer phones file papers guide and assist visitors direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel on campus.
Qualifications Guidelines:
Education/Certifications:
Student must be at least 16 years old
Have transportation to report to work

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Organizational and multi-tasking skills
Mental/Physical/Environmental Demands:
Tools/Equipment Used:Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals; imaging equipment
Posture:Frequent walking/standing/climbing/bending/stooping/kneeling pushing/pulling and twisting
Motion:Repetitive hand motions including keyboarding and use of mouse; reaching
Lifting:Occasional light-lifting and carrying (less than 25 pounds)
Environment:May work prolonged or irregular hours
Mental Demands:Work with frequent interruptions maintain emotional control under stress
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet visitors and assist with requests.
- Answer and respond to incoming calls from the public and employees take reliable messages and route to the appropriate staff.
- Receive sort and distribute mail and other documents to department staff.
- Process requests for official district records including maintaining log of records requests retrieving documents copying and mailing records.
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Monitor access to records and ensure proper security and confidentiality.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Complete any other duties as assigned.
