The Impact Youll Make

As our Accountant youll play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and sustainability of our organisation. Your work will directly support our ability to deliver exceptional care to residents invest in our facilities and provide programs that enrich lives. You wont just be balancing numbersyoull be helping us make every dollar count for the people who matter most.

What Youll Do

Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable and back-up to accounts payable and payroll functions

Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for the Board and senior leadership.

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure resources are allocated effectively.

Maintain and update the Fixed Asset register with Additions and Disposals

Prepare the monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Finalise the end of month Medicare claim and reconciliation

Ensure compliance with aged care funding requirements government reporting and relevant legislation.

Partner with department managers to provide financial insights that support decision-making.

Liaise with auditors banks and external stakeholders to maintain strong financial governance.

What Youll Bring

Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field with CPA/CA qualification (or working towards).

Proven experience in financial managementexperience in aged care healthcare or not-for-profit sectors highly regarded and preferred but not essential

Experience and skills in Power BI highly regarded but not eseential

Strong knowledge of accounting software and advanced Excel skills.

Excellent attention to detail analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

A collaborative approach and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
