Material Coordinator (1st Shift)
Pay Rate: $19$21/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift (6:00 AM 5:00 PM EST)
Locations Hiring: Multiple openings (2 positions)
We are hiring Material Coordinators to support warehouse and material handling operations in a regulated GMP environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant handling of materials across shipping receiving storage and distribution functions.
Schedule Details
- 8-hour shifts within a staggered start structure:
- 3 staff start at 6:00 AM
- 3 staff start at 7:00 AM
- 3 staff start at 8:00 AM
- 40 hours per week
- Days may vary (MondayFriday TuesdaySaturday or WednesdaySunday)
- 2-week notice provided for schedule changes
- Transition to 12-hour Pittman schedule (2 on / 2 off / 3 on / 3 off) planned for October after training period
What Youll Do
- Perform shipping receiving storing transferring and inventory reconciliation
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial vehicles (PIVs)
- Move materials using trucks when required (following DOT regulations)
- Ensure all materials are handled according to cGMP and GDP standards
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with SOPs
- Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections
- Follow safety and environmental procedures at all times
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
What Were Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required
- Warehouse or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to follow detailed SOPs and regulatory procedures
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Forklift or PIV experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and remain active throughout the shift
