Job Summary
Data Architect / Senior Cloud Integration Architect
Location: Chicago (Onsite 3x/week)
Duration: 12 Months Contract (May 2026 May 2027)
Interview: 15-min manager screening technical round
Note:
- No remote option must be comfortable working onsite in Chicago 3 days/week
- Candidates should be local to Illinois or open to relocation

We are hiring a Senior Cloud Integration Architect / Data Architect to design and deliver enterprise integration solutions across Azure and on-prem environments. This role will focus on defining scalable integration patterns event-driven architecture and ensuring successful implementation across multiple teams.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in event-driven and distributed system architecture
- Hands-on with Kafka Azure Service Bus Azure Event Hubs
- Strong DB experience (SQL Server PostgreSQL Oracle)
- Deep expertise in Azure services including:
- Azure Container Apps / AKS
- ADLS / Storage
- Key Vault ACR
- Monitoring (App Insights Log Analytics)
- Networking (private endpoints DNS hybrid connectivity)
- Experience defining:
- Canonical data & event models
- Integration contracts across systems
- Data modeling approaches (relational event-based Data Vault)
- Experience designing hybrid integration (Azure on-prem)
- Strong documentation skills (SDD security DR observability)
- Ability to work across teams and drive architecture alignment
- Willingness to be hands-on (development/troubleshooting) when needed
Others:
- Experience with Databricks or Snowflake
- Exposure to enterprise architecture governance processes
- Development background (Java / Python preferred)
