Job Summary

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation. This role will lead end-to-end project execution for new equipment installations upgrades and tooling projects ensuring alignment with production requirements budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution
  • Develop detailed project plans schedules and budgets for tooling and equipment projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering operations maintenance and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management
  • Source and evaluate suppliers for tooling and industrial equipment.
  • Negotiate contracts pricing and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Installation & Commissioning
  • Oversee installation testing and commissioning of industrial equipment and tooling.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation.
  • Validate equipment performance and handover to operations.
  • Budget & Reporting
  • Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution and cost efficiency.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven expertise in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment specifications.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project SAP or similar).
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
