Senior Finance Executive

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and preparing book-keeping and accounting entries to the accounting system prepare by subordinate

Reviewing and preparing monthly closing and ensure compile a full set of financial statements with supporting schedules/notes

Monitoring payment processing function such as preparing banking transactions (both online and manual) by subordinate

Monitoring bank reconciliation and funding projection

Monitoring other related accounting functions such as preparation of AR/AP reports etc.

E-invoicing SST and Withholding Tax Accounting Reporting and Filing

Handle ad hoc activities as assigned

Timely preparation and review of full set of accounts month-end financial year end closing and aging / listings on Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Fixed Assets Bank Reconciliations and Cash Flow projections Notes to Accounts and all related accounting schedules which must be submitted to clients or BU stakeholders within agreed timelines. (Senior)

Work independently and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.

Prepare and review audit and tax schedules for year-end finalization.

Liaise with operation to ensure compliance with all matters relating to audit tax and statutory requirements.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree Post Graduate Diploma Professional Degree Masters Degree Finance/Accountancy/Banking Commerce or equivalent.

Required language(s): Mandarin Cantonese Malay & English

Experience in construction companies or similar industries is highly preferred with a strong understanding of project management budgetary control cash flow monitoring etc.

Resourceful meticulous organized independent and able to multi-task. Confident and comfortable with handling data and figures

Good team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Able to guide mentor and monitor the work performance of the staff.

At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the Accounts is required for this position.
