Diploma Room Leader

We are seeking a self-motivated and vibrant Diploma Qualified Educator to join the experienced and welcoming team at in our beautiful well equipped Nursery Room

The Nursery Room Leader plays a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children in the Ridgewood community. This permanent full-time position is essential for ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children. The successful candidate will lead a team of educators promoting best practices in early childhood education and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage our Nursery Room ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
• Develop and implement educational programs that cater to the individual needs of each child through inquiry-based learning and the KG learning approach
• Supervise and mentor staff providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
• Maintain accurate records of childrens progress and development communicating effectively with parents and guardians.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and organisational policies.
• Foster positive relationships with children families and the wider community.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the educational program.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the education and training sector.
• Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices in education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Working with Children Check clearance.
• Mandatory Child Protection and Child Safety Training
