Job Summary
Our client is a manufacturer of specialty ingredients and solutions serving the bakery and milling industries. With a broad portfolio across bread pastry and sweet goods they partner with artisan and industrial bakeries as well as retail and QSR customers nationwide. The company is well positioned for continued growth and is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to make a meaningful commercial impact.
This role leads and executes the U.S. sales strategy with a focus on driving new business and expanding key customer relationships. The individual will bring structure and discipline to the sales function while developing and leading a high-performing team. They will partner cross-functionally to support growth identify new market opportunities and own key commercial decisions around pricing negotiations and overall business performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required
- 10 years of commercial leadership experience
- Food ingredients industry experience preferred (bakery a plus)
- Track record of driving growth building relationships and improving sales processes
- Experience leading teams and developing talent
- Strong business acumen (forecasting pricing margin management)
- Executive presence with strong communication and influencing skills
- Willingness to travel 50%
