JOB SUMMARY: The Corporate Director of Pharmacy Business Operations and Finance is responsible for driving financial growth strengthening revenue streams and supporting pharmacovigilance efforts through planning and monitoring of expenses related to the delivery of pharmaceutical care at EHC. This role encompasses various responsibilities including developing and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The Corporate Director of Pharmacy Business Operations and Finance has accountability to the Sr. Vice President/Chief Pharmacy Officer and works closely with the Chief Financial Officer(s). Job Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the financial performance of pharmacy services emphasizing cost savings revenue growth and operational efficiency. Conduct external learning by staying informed about industry trends innovative financial models and best practices in pharmacy management. Utilize financial data and analysis to identify areas for financial improvement and develop strategies for enhancement. Analyze financial data and performance metrics to identify areas for revenue growth and develop corresponding strategies. Explore strategic business opportunities both within and beyond the EHC focusing on innovative revenue models and financial partnerships. Leverage external learning to identify potential financial collaboration opportunities with external providers payors and industry stakeholders. Participate in the development and execute business plans to expand Enterprise Pharmacy Services revenue streams. Partner closely with Finance Patient Care Services Office of General Counsel and Compliance to ensure achievement of pharmacy financial targets and business goals. Lead development of the fiscal year operating and capital budgets for pharmacy cost centers in collaboration with pharmacy leadership and Finance. Prepare and monitor all inpatient ambulatory specialty and infusion pharmacy monthly financial reports in consultation with department leadership. Forecast drug expenses for purposes of revenue and expense budget planning. Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to ensure integrity efficiency and effectiveness of revenue cycle. Direct activities of pharmacy personnel associated with 340B program oversight and operations. Provide support for business plans and financial modeling projects. Collaborate with pharmacy leadership team to support contract negotiations execution and monitoring to performance. Implement financial strategies to optimize revenue generation within the pharmacy service line. Incorporate external learning by staying updated on emerging pharmacy revenue models and reimbursement trends. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in pharmacy required. Masters degree in pharmacy health services or business administration or related field preferred. A minimum of seven years prior healthcare pharmacy and finance related experience. Eligible for Georgia Licensure. Candidate is required to be licensed in Georgia prior to official start date. Must also have extensive experience in pharmacy financial performance with emphasis in the areas of 340B Program budget and contract/agreement experience. Advanced knowledge and demonstrated skills in contemporary analysis software required. 3 years in pharmacy finance 340B program knowledge preferred.

Environmental exposures include but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock Floor Surfaces Hot/Cold Temperatures Indoor/Outdoor conditions Latex Lighting Patient care/handling injuries Radiation Shift work Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment including respirators environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
