Job Title : Technical Safety Engineer Lead

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical safety engineering team to ensure safe and compliant operations.
  
• Develop implement and maintain technical safety standards procedures and best practices.
  
• Conduct and review risk assessments hazard analyses flare and relief system designs and fire & gas system studies.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations safety standards and engineering requirements.
  
• Collaborate with engineering operations and project teams to integrate safety requirements into project execution and facility design.
  
• Monitor safety performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  
• Prepare technical safety reports documentation and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory reviews.
  
• Provide technical guidance and subject matter expertise on process safety and risk management matters.
  
• Participate in audits inspections and regulatory compliance activities.
  
• Support safety culture initiatives and promote operational excellence across teams.

Requisites

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Chemical Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
  
• Strong understanding of technical safety engineering principles process safety and risk assessment methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of HAZOP LOPA flare and relief systems fire & gas design and regulatory compliance standards.
  
• Familiarity with international safety standards such as OSHA ISO 45001 and IEC 61508.
  
• Experience with safety management software and engineering analysis tools.
  
• Strong leadership project coordination analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic engineering environment.
