This is a hybrid position working from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday for a total of 40 hours per week. The pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour.
Training Data Analyst Job Overview:
The Tennessee Corrections Institute is seeking a Training Data Analyst to play a crucial role in ensuring the training compliance of correctional officers across Tennessee. This position demands a meticulous and analytical professional capable of managing data auditing training records and providing executive support.This position offers a mix of remote work and on-site responsibilities; the incumbent will be expected to work on-site a minimum of three (3) days per week so candidates must be local to the Jackson area.
Training Data Analyst Job Responsibilities will include:
- Utilizing the TCI Learning Management System (LMS) to mine and analyze data ensuring all officers meet state-required training standards.
- Conducting audits of customer-submitted information for accuracy and completeness ensuring compliance with state minimum training requirements.
- Assist in managing projects related to staff training and development coordinating closely with the Training Division.
- Performing quality assurance checks to maintain high standards in training delivery and documentation.
- Monitoring and reporting on staff development including tracking hours of self-development activities.
- Producing detailed reports and analyses related to training compliance and effectiveness.
- Monitoring reporting on and tracking trends in quality assurance measures within the LMS to ensure continuous improvement and compliance.
- Creating and implementing new quality assurance measures to effectively assess and report on the success of specialized and major training events.
Education and Qualifications Needed for Training Data Analyst position:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Data Analysis Criminal Justice or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in data analysis project management and administrative support.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience working in a compliance role within a regulatory or training environment is highly advantageous.
