This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in the design development and optimisation of mineral processing equipment and systems.
Duties & Responsibilities

Applications can be submitted to:
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical equipment used in mineral processing plants (e.g. conveyors crushers mills screens pumps and piping systems)
- Support senior engineers with technical drawings layouts and 3D modelling
- Participate in project execution from concept through to commissioning
- Conduct site visits for inspections data collection and troubleshooting
- Assist with maintenance planning equipment upgrades and performance optimisation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process electrical and project engineers
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and engineering best practices
- Compile technical reports documentation and specifications
- BEng or BSc in Mechanical Engineering
- 02 years experience in a mechanical or industrial environment (mineral processing exposure advantageous)
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks Inventor or AutoCAD)
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems materials handling and plant equipment
- Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to sites when required
- Exposure to mining or mineral processing environments
- Understanding of fabrication processes and equipment maintenance
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and standards
