Job Summary

What you will do


Were hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead daytoday production operations in a plant-based manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Manufacturing/Production Manager and is critical to meeting safety quality cost and delivery goals while maintaining strong employee engagement.


This position plays a key role in keeping production running safely and efficiently developing frontline teams and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

What Does Success Look Like

  • Meet daily production quality and safety targets for assigned work areas.

  • Lead coach and develop production employees to perform work safely and efficiently.

  • Maintain strong employee relations through consistent policy application and coaching.

  • Ensure compliance with safety environmental and housekeeping standards.

  • Monitor labor materials scrap and productivity to meet cost and efficiency goals.

  • Identify and drive process equipment and standard work improvements.

What we look for

Required

  • Bachelors degree Engineering Business Operations or related field preferred.

  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to work 12hour shifts including nights and overtime as needed.

  • Experience using computer systems for labor production or inventory tracking.

Preferred

  • Experience in union manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with standard work audits and continuous improvement practices.

  • Exposure to safety environmental and quality management systems.

Our St. Joseph Missouri distribution center charges packages and ships the batteries used in cars boats motorcycles and heavy-duty trucks. We opened in 2000 now employ more than 280 people and operate six days per week.
