About the role :
As a National Business Development Manager you will support the growth and expansion of the Nutanix business at Ingram Micro. You will work closely with the vendor and the wider Infrastructure team to generate new Resellers and Managed Service Providers for Nutanix and create additional growth opportunities within those resellers
Providing an exceptional level of commitment to customer service and supplying customers with quality engagement and solutions along with collaborating with other specialised sales and technical associates within the Ingram Micro business is key.
Your responsibilities
As a proactive and sales-focused professional who can build on existing and new sales opportunities you will focus on building strong channel relationships to help drive growth for Ingram Micro and Nutanix.
Driving channel growth across Nutanixs Unmanaged Reseller segment and developing revenue through the acquisition management and maintenance of customers
Providing an exceptional level of commitment to customer service and supplying customers with quality industry solutions
Effectively manage and grow sales-associated opportunities nationally
Facilitatingrelationships between the vendor and resellers to cement our position as the distributor of choice
Pro-active Market Development working with the customer to achieve all business and technology objectives.
Role requirements
Previous experience in the IT sales and distribution industry is preferable
Experience selling Nutanix or equivalent vendor is highly preferred
The ability to develop solid relationships with existing resellers and bring on new customers to drive growth
Experience and knowledge of the Enterprise Software market will be an advantage
Superior interpersonal and communication skills
Being persuasive in both written and oral presentations is a must
The ability to plan and implement development plans and business strategies
Ability to take ownership and operate autonomously
