Job Summary
BASIS Ed Texas Central Office is seeking qualified candidates for a Human Resources Partner to join our bright passionate team!
The role of the Human Resources Partner is to provide support for all aspects of Human Resources including Employee Relations Benefits Performance Management Compliance and Workers Compensation. Work closely with school leaders and the school management team to ensure legal compliance throughout employee interactions and identify outcomes that are both considerate of business needs and fair to employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as one stop shop for HR items (Benefits Employee Relations processing amendments expediting priorities)
- Serve as resident expert on issues of Labor Relations - educating managers ensuring compliance and investigating charges
- Support HR operations in facilitating data audits and with data/system uploads as necessary
- Support schools during difficult conversations with employees either by consulting on joining or executing the conversation
- Support a culture of talent and development in schools - conduct periodic talent reviews and encourage a culture of development
- Review and/or write corrective actions for school employees
- Conduct exit interviews monitor exit information trends make suggestions for corrections
- Serve as the company resource for policy and employee handbook interpretation.
- Serve as the company resource for precedent company knowledge.
- Field employee complaints assess and resolve as necessary
- Develop Tools Forms and Resources to be used by School Leaders / HOPs
- Conduct investigations and compile responses in defense of EEOC CAL-OSHA ADOSH and OSHA claims
- Consult investigate and/or resolve high level Employee Relations issues
- Develop and execute training of Human Resources topics for School Leaders / HOPs (conference calls summer training etc.)
- Attended continued education courses to maintain current knowledge of employment law and guidelines
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with Schools Leaders and school management
- Be timely and most often urgent in responses to schools. Demonstrate a culture of customer service in interactions with employees.
- Report and manage workers compensation claims
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Experience in Human Resources Administration Employee Relations Employment Law Company Benefits Administration Workers Compensation and ADAAA Interactive Process. Experience with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.
