Job Summary
Job Summary:Join the team at Sioux Falls Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper where you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that our hotel is known for. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills within a dynamic hospitality environment in Sioux Falls SD.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Housekeeper in supervising and coordinating housekeeping staff activities to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Ensure all guest rooms public areas and back-of-house spaces meet cleanliness and safety standards.
- Train motivate and support housekeeping team members to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Conduct inspections to monitor quality control and address any guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and communicate needs to management.
- Assist with scheduling and staffing to meet business demands.
- Comply with all hotel policies procedures and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or related hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Capable of lifting and moving cleaning equipment and supplies as required.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and guest satisfaction.
- High School diploma or GED required.
