Officer, Domestic Payments
Job Summary
Processing of inward and outward ACH transcations bulk salary payments. Reconciliation of suspense accounts. Processing of NAPS on ibranch collect platform NIP on ibranch collect platform direct debit mandate on CMMS platform incoming e-Reference on the edmms platform.
- Receipt and review of payments instructions for compliance with the policies of the bank.
- Upload/capturing of payments instructions on the banking applications in line with the banks guidelines.
- First level call-over of entries generated to ensure errors are spotted and corrected immediately.
- Provide relevant information to relationship managers on all invalid transactions.
- Support investigation of customers complaints relating to payments.
- Follows through on initiatives to improve customer satisfaction ratings.
- Supports identified and defined tactical operational performance metrics geared towards meeting e-Payments objectives by leveraging opportunities.
- Support collaboration with other areas through continuous interactions to ensure that best practices are implemented and a standard approach is followed.
Qualifications :
- BSc in Economics Accounting or related field
- Professional certification can be an added advantage
Experience
- At least one year experience in banking operations ideally within the corporate fininacial service sector.
