JOB SUMMARY

TheSeniorAnalystDeployment Support Resource FABSwillplay a critical role inprovidingsupportto enablethe successful deployment ofthe Project Lightyearis a multi-year effort toreplaceMarriottsfinancialapplicationecosystemwithastate-of-the-artOracle Cloud Fusionfinancial system.

TheSeniorAnalystDeployment Support Resource FABSwill act as a key contributorthroughoutthebuild testing and deployment phases of Project willbe responsible fortasks including providingboth functional and technicalsupportrelating to global hotel reports and processesmonitoringand triaging group mailboxesas well asgathering and analyzing data to support candidatewillsupportsystem/processdocumentation data organization processimprovementand transitionof multiple financialsystems.

Expected Contributions

  • MonitorPG&A group mailboxestoaddressrequests and questionsescalating as needed andensuringtimelytriage and resolution.

  • Review test andassistwith the productionmigration ofreportsinPeopleSoftHyperionandother related financial systems.

  • Review and testupdates to global hotel business plan related files owned by PG&A.

  • Support the review and updating ofreportinghierarchies ownedby PG&A.

  • Assistwith performingandoptimizinghotel chart of accounts audits.

  • Work collaboratively and directly withPG&A the other areas of FABS andbusinessassociatesto understand and translate business needs andtodevelopappropriateactionplans.

  • Document issues workarounds and updates toPG&Ajob aids for supportedprocesses.

  • Participate as needed in support calls readiness reviews and cutover planning sessions.

  • Identifyand/orimplementidentifiedprocess improvements.

  • Extractdata frommultiple datasourcesthenuseappropriate toolstotransformclean and restructurethe data as needed.

  • Leverage Power BItoeffectively visualizedatatosupportcommunicatedobjectives.

  • Analyze data toidentifypatterns and anomalies

  • Report to two supervisors that will coordinate the work needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree (4-year) from an accredited university preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2 years of relevant experience in finance technology support operations business systems or a related discipline preferreddemonstratingprogressive growth anda track recordof exceptional performance.

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot analyze and communicateissue detailsclearly in real time.

  • Proven customer support leadership experience with a global scope and mindset.

  • Experienceparticipatingin large-scale deployments rollouts or cutover events.

  • Knowledge of Marriotts financial business processes and hotel finance operations.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects.

  • Ability to persuade and motivate stakeholders and team members to achieve project goals andobjectives.

  • Strong presentation facilitation and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Experience with PeopleSoft GL/EPM or Hyperion tools preferred.

  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly and concisely.

  • Collaborative mindset:considerskey stakeholdersbuildsrelationships toleverageinformation and insightscommunicateseffectively andsharesinformation openly.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build andmaintaineffective internal and external relationships with a broad group of stakeholders.

  • Highly responsive with the ability to integrate and balance priorities work activities and resources across multiple stakeholders.

  • Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

LOCATION

  • This position will be based at MI Corporate Headquarters. The preference is for hybrid candidates however open to remote candidates.
