The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English / Humanities Teacher to join our team preferably in Term 2 but open to a Term 3 start. This role focuses on delivering engaging and high-quality learning experiences in the secondary school with the ability to teach a combination of:

• General and/or Essential English
• Literature
• English / Humanities Y7-Y10

The ability to teach General Business will be highly regarded as will experience or involvement in The Arts.

This is a full-time position however we are open to flexible or part-time arrangements for the right candidate.

• Demonstrates a strong understanding of the QCAA syllabus and secondary curriculum.
• Creates engaging inclusive and student-centred learning environments
• Builds positive relationships with students colleagues and the wider community
• Actively supports and models the Colleges values of Honour Excellence Integrity and Empathy
• Brings creativity and innovation to the classroom and is interested in pursuingcross-curricular approaches

Key Responsibilities

• Plan deliver and assess high-quality teaching and learning programs
• Monitor and support student progress and wellbeing
• Contribute to curriculum development and faculty initiatives
• Participate in the co-curricular life of the College
