We act for the roleThe Coordinator Housing provides housing and tenancy management services to refugees and humanitarian entrants establishing a new life in Australia. The role is responsible for managing properties adhering to the relevant State & Territory Residential Tenancies Act and program policies. The Coordinator is also responsible for ensuring refugees secure long-term and sustainable tenancies for a diverse and broad range of communities. The Coordinator Housing plays a critical role in the delivery of our services to refugees and humanitarian entrants and will work closely with our case coordination teams volunteers and other you will bringSound discipline knowledge and experience in tenancy and property managementDemonstrated experience working with vulnerable and marginalised people in the delivery of community or social housing servicesSound working knowledge of Residential Tenancies legislationExperience in working competently with staff and clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds with respect and experience of migration or forced displacement (desirable)Benefits that act for you while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
