The Opportunity
Join our Australian Steel Markets business in our BlueScope Steel Direct team as an Contact Centre Representative based in Port Kembla NSW. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity with hybrid flexibility where youll work four days in the office and one day from home.
Working within a supportive and customer experience focused team. Youll gain invaluable exposure working across multiple business streams and stakeholders where you can grow yourprofessionalknowledge and experience with an iconic Australian company.
What Will You Do
Utilising your knowledge and understanding of the building and construction industry in conjunction with your awareness of steel products and installation methods youll be the first point of contact for consumers trades and professionals. You will:
- respond to enquiries and provide product and technical information about our premium brands and products or link them to the internal teams to address their concerns
- build relationships with internal stakeholders by identifying key players investing time communicating regularly demonstrating integrity and fostering positive connections
- provide insights to our internal sales marketing technical and innovation teams
- identify improvements with our systems and processes assisting with implementing changes
- participate in improvement initiatives that support customer experience employee experience and efficient operations
