Job Summary
A well-established business is seeking a hands-on self-sufficient Bookkeeper to join their team on a half-day basis. This low volume job is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexibility including returning professionals or semi-retired candidates while still being part of a dynamic business environment.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for full-function bookkeeping including managing payroll handling VAT submissions processing payments and overseeing both debtors and creditors. The role will also involve assisting with ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as required to support the broader business.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Sage Pastel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership
- Flexible and adaptable within a growing business
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Bookkeeping Certificate
