Lead Software QA Engineer

Cricut is seeking an experienced and versatile Software QA Engineer to support quality across Web Mobile Native and API-based applications. In this role you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and product teams to validate new features and ensure a high-quality end-user experience.

The ideal candidate can confidently represent QA perspectives in team discussions communicate risks clearly and provide actionable feedback that helps improve customer-facing experiences.

This position requires a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle hands-on experience with a variety of testing techniques familiarity with executing and maintaining automation test suites and excellent written communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications :

• 6 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or a related role
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Experience working with user stories features and acceptance criteria in an agile environment
• Solid understanding of creating and executing test cases and test plans
• Experience running and maintaining automated testing suites
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate risks and issues
• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices across the software development lifecycle

Nice to Have / Bonus Qualifications

• Experience testing ecommerce or subscription-based systems including purchases renewals and cancellations.
• Experience testing across multiple platforms including Apple Google Web and backend APIs
