Director of Sales & Marketing- Fairmont Agra
Job Summary
As Director of Sales & Marketing you will lead the commercial strategy for the pre-opening and launch of Fairmont Agrapositioning the hotel as a premier luxury destination in the market while driving revenue brand visibility and long-term profitability.
- Develop and execute the overall Sales Marketing and Distribution strategy aligned with Accor and Fairmont brand standards.
- Lead the hotels pre-opening commercial roadmap including market positioning pricing strategy and go-to-market plans.
- Drive revenue generation across all segments including Rooms Events MICE and F&B.
- Establish strong relationships with key clients luxury travel partners corporate accounts and global distribution channels.
- Identify new business opportunities and build strategic partnerships to maximize market share.
- Oversee digital marketing PR branding and communication strategies to ensure strong market presence pre- and post-opening.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to ensure proactive and agile strategy execution.
- Collaborate with Accor regional and global sales teams to leverage network opportunities.
Pre-opening Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the Sales & Marketing team from the ground up.
- Develop pre-opening sales plans budgets and revenue forecasts.
- Establish all sales systems reporting tools and distribution channels (OTA GDS direct channels).
- Launch brand awareness campaigns PR initiatives and pre-opening promotions.
- Drive early business through key accounts MICE planners and luxury consortia.
- Ensure readiness of all sales collaterals digital assets and brand communication.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Inspire coach and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
- Set clear objectives monitor performance and drive accountability.
- Foster a culture of collaboration innovation and results-driven performance.
- Work closely with Revenue Management Operations and Finance teams to achieve business goals.
Business Planning & Performance:
- Lead the Annual Business Plan budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Track performance against KPIs including revenue market share and profitability.
- Optimize sales mix and distribution channels to maximize yield.
- Ensure effective use of Accor sales tools CRM systems and analytics platforms.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Hospitality or related field (Masters preferred).
- 1015 years of experience in hotel sales & marketing with at least 35 years in a leadership role.
- Prior pre-opening experience in a luxury or upscale hotel is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of luxury market segments distribution channels and revenue strategies.
- Proven ability to drive results build relationships and lead high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication negotiation and strategic thinking skills
