Associate Attorney Landlord-Tenant & Collections Litigation

Pay: $75000.00 - $115000.00 per year

Location: This is a full-time on-site role in Wheat Ridge Colorado. This position is not remote or hybrid and candidates must be able to commute reliably to the office.

Note: Candidates must be currently licensed to practice law in Colorado at the time of hire. Litigation collections landlord-tenant eviction or community association experience is preferred but the key requirement is a Colorado license strong work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced legal environment.

Job Description

• Represent landlords property managers and community associations in eviction collection and litigation matters
• Make regular court appearances and communicate with opposing parties defendants clients and internal team members
• Prepare pleadings motions correspondence notices and other legal documents
• Handle a fast-paced caseload while staying organized proactive and responsive
• Work closely with partners attorneys and staff to learn firm processes and case strategy
• Take initiative in moving matters forward efficiently and professionally
• Support litigation collections and landlord-tenant matters from intake through resolution
• Contribute to a team-oriented office where reliability follow-through and attention to detail matter

Qualifications

• Active Colorado law license required
• Litigation experience preferred
• Collections eviction landlord-tenant or community association experience is a plus
• Strong writing communication organization and multitasking skills
• Comfortable with court appearances and direct contact with clients and opposing parties
• Able to work on-site full-time in Wheat Ridge CO
• Team player who can accept training take initiative and thrive in a busy legal environment

• Salary Bands:

  • 0 to 2 years relevant experience: $75k to $85k base

  • 2 to 4 years relevant experience: $85k to $95k base

  • 4 years directly relevant litigation collections eviction or landlord-tenant experience: $95k to $105k base potential

  • Additional upside: profit sharing based on billable time may be available
