Overview
We are seeking a compassionate motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our premier health organizations rehabilitation services team in an outpatient acute care setting. This full-time position offers a generous $15000 sign-on bonus flexible scheduling with weekend pay differential relocation assistance and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on patient recovery and quality of life.
About the Role
As an Outpatient Physical Therapist you will provide exceptional rehabilitation care to patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Youll work closely with a diverse group of patients and a collaborative multidisciplinary care team delivering top-tier care in a supportive patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patients needs and rehabilitation goals
Administer various therapeutic treatments including exercises manual therapy modalities (ultrasound heat/ice therapy electrical stimulation) and patient education
Educate patients on exercise programs posture correction and injury prevention to ensure long-term recovery and improved functional outcomes
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive patient-centered care
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to meet rehabilitation goals
Document treatment plans progress notes and discharge summaries in compliance with departmental policies and industry standards
Provide excellent patient education to empower individuals in managing their rehabilitation and preventing future injuries
Maintain a clean safe and organized environment adhering to infection control and safety guidelines
Requirements
Education & Licensure (Required):
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
Must hold or be eligible to obtain a valid Physical Therapist license in New York at the time of hire
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire
Experience (Preferred):
Prior experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred
0-30 years of experience considered
Experience treating orthopedic neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
Skills & Competencies:
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with patients families and team members
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to deliver high-quality compassionate care
Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently and up to 150 pounds with assistance
Requires frequent standing walking bending and moving patients during treatment sessions
English language proficiency required

Base Salary: $70000 - $100000 annually (based on experience)

Weekend Pay: 25% differential for Saturday/Sunday hours
