Physical Therapist
Location: Hopedale IL
Pay Rate: $50.00 $53.00/hr
Schedule: 8-hour shifts flexible
Contract: 13 weeks
Experience: Minimum 2 years
About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Physical Therapist for a 13-week contract in Hopedale IL. This inpatient role is ideal for a PT who can evaluate patients create treatment plans and help patients improve mobility strength function and independence.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients physical functional motor and neurological status
- Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercise gait training transfer training and mobility support
- Recommend and train patients on assistive devices and home exercise programs
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Complete accurate documentation progress notes discharge summaries and treatment records
- Collaborate with physicians nursing social services therapy staff and other care team members
Requirements
- Active Illinois Physical Therapist license required
- Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience required
- Bachelors degree or higher in Physical Therapy required
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Inpatient physical therapy experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology therapy treatments and modalities
- Ability to lift position and assist patients as needed
