Physical Therapist
Location: Grants NM
Pay Rate: $55.00 $60.00/hr
Schedule: Days 8-hour shifts
Contract: 12 weeks
Experience: Minimum 1 year
About the Role
We are hiring a Physical Therapist for a 12-week contract in Grants NM. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient therapy services and is a great opportunity for a PT focused on helping patients improve mobility independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises functional training and mobility support
- Administer hands-on treatments and therapy modalities as appropriate
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises and assistive equipment
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program required
- Active Physical Therapist license required
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
- Inpatient outpatient hospital or rehab experience preferred
- New graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- Cerner experience preferred
- Ability to work day shift and 8-hour schedule
