About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Platform Lead & Delivery Manager to lead an integrated enterprise platform team supporting a high-impact Department of State modernization initiative. This role combines technical leadership delivery management and cross-platform architecture across ServiceNow Microsoft 365/SharePoint and Power Platform.

This is an ideal opportunity for a senior technologist who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams through modernization transformation and continuous delivery efforts. You will serve as a player-coach guiding both strategic direction and day-to-day execution across multiple business-critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery Leadership

• Own the full lifecycle of platform requests from intake through deployment
• Lead Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning backlog refinement reviews and retrospectives
• Evaluate incoming requests estimate effort and assign work across the team
• Monitor delivery progress maintain sprint velocity and remove blockers proactively
• Drive consistent execution across multiple concurrent platform initiatives

Cross-Platform Solution Architecture

• Design scalable integrated solutions across ServiceNow Microsoft 365/SharePoint and Power Platform
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into sustainable technical solutions
• Determine the best-fit platform for each use case while minimizing overlap and redundant tooling
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture security and modernization standards

Fit-Gap Analysis & Governance

• Lead formal Fit-Gap assessments to evaluate out-of-the-box platform capabilities before approving custom development
• Promote platform sustainability by prioritizing configuration over customization whenever possible
• Establish and maintain governance practices that support maintainability scalability and long-term modernization goals

Quality Release & Operational Oversight

• Define and enforce code quality peer review and release readiness standards
• Oversee deployment planning and release execution to ensure stability and minimal service disruption
• Coordinate closely with platform owners security stakeholders and governance teams
• Support continuous improvement across release management solution delivery and operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and 8 years of IT experience
• At least 3 years of experience in a Technical Lead Delivery Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong architecture and delivery experience across:
  • ServiceNow
  • Microsoft 365 / SharePoint
  • Power Platform
• Proven experience leading Agile delivery across multi-developer or cross-functional technical teams
• Hands-on experience with intake management Kanban boards sprint planning and backlog prioritization
• Strong ability to translate functional needs into scalable platform solutions
• Excellent communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
• Active Secret Clearance required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting federal or government modernization programs
• Strong understanding of enterprise governance platform rationalization and secure solution delivery
• Experience leading teams in fast-paced high-visibility environments

Preferred Certifications

• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI-ACP
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS)
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
