We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful AI Tool smith Intern to join our Solution Delivery group. This is an early-career opportunity for someone who loves experimenting with technology building prototypes and turning ideas into practical improvements. The focus of the role is not on data science or developing new AI models but on applying the AI-enabled tools S&P Global already has to help our delivery professionals Scrum Masters Release Train Engineers Technical Program Managers and others work smarter and more efficiently.
The Team
Solution Delivery plays a critical role in enabling program and portfolio execution across S&P Globals Corporate Platforms. We support large-scale Agile Release Trains and Value Streams ensuring that planning reporting and delivery run smoothly. The AI Tool smith will be embedded in this group working directly with delivery roles to uncover pain points and show how AI and automation can simplify their work. Key platforms include Microsoft Copilot Power Automate Azure DevOps Spark and Snowflake the goal is to maximize the value of tools already in-house rather than bringing in new external solutions.
The Impact
As AI Tool smith Intern you will act as a hands-on builder and enabler testing and demonstrating how in-house platforms can remove friction in delivery workflows. Whether its automating repetitive status updates streamlining PI Planning preparation improving dependency tracking or surfacing insights from data your work will directly increase the effectiveness of Solution Delivery. By documenting best practices and creating playbooks you will help scale these improvements across multiple teams ensuring that delivery professionals can focus their time on leadership collaboration and problem solving.
Responsibilities:
Design and build intelligent automations and workflows that eliminate manual reporting data entry and administrative bottlenecks
Develop interactive dashboards and visualization tools that provide real-time insights into agile program management and delivery metrics
Research and implement Agentic AI use cases that can transform traditional agile processes and accelerate digital transformation initiatives
Explore and prototype solutions using enterprise platforms including MS Copilot Power Automate Azure DevOps Spark and Snowflake to enhance delivery efficiency across teams
Partner with Scrum Masters RTEs TPMs and other Solution Delivery roles to identify areas where AI-enabled features can add value.
Collaborate with the Digital Solutions team to share vision define use cases negotiate requirements and ensure delivery of new features or enhancements.
Capture lessons learned and package them into playbooks guides and repeatable solutions.
Share quick win use cases with teams and stakeholders to encourage adoption.
Stay current on updates to our enterprise platforms highlighting practical opportunities for application in SAFe-Agile delivery contexts.
What Were Looking For
Recent graduates or students graduating in May/June 2026 with a strong academic record from the following fields: Computer Science Software Engineering Computer Engineering Artificial Intelligence Information Technology or any related discipline.
Strong curiosity about AI and automation with a desire to experiment and build.
Familiarity with SAFe-Agile principles and roles; experience working in or around Agile Release Trains is preferred.
Hands-on experience (academic internship or professional) with one or more of the following: Power Automate Azure DevOps Snowflake Microsoft Copilot or similar enterprise platforms.
Comfort with APIs data handling or light scripting (SQL Python JavaScript) is a plus.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong collaboration negotiation and follow-up skills to ensure ideas move from prototype to production.
A builders mindset eager to test learn and iterate quickly.
