Join Our Team as a Banquet Server
We are in search of friendly and professional on- call Banquet Servers to join our this role you will be responsible for providing smooth and efficient food service to guests during events. Must have AM availability.
General Responsibilities:
- Ensure banquet rooms are set according to banquet event orders and management specifications
- Acknowledge and welcome each guest with a smile eye contact and a friendly greeting (use guest name whenever possible)
- Take orders from guests and deliver to appropriate person to execute
- Review and understand event plan at beginning of each shift
- Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
- Delivers food beverages condiments and other requested items
- Ensure that food is prepared correctly and to the guests satisfaction; return incorrect or improperly cooked items to the kitchen
- Collect plates and clear table as guests finish their meal
- Adhere to all applicable brand standards for food and beverage service and compliance with state liquor policies
- Clean designated areas in accordance with defined procedures
- Ensure sideboards are adequately stocked
- Set tables to standards and that all items are clean and in good repair
- Assist with other restaurant tasks such as cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills ability to solve problems
- Previous server experience preferred
- Ability to operate point-of-sale system
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work with a team
- Ability to maintain personal hygiene
- Must be able to lift balance and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to work varied hours including early morning weekends and holidays
