• Performs a variety of routine tasks and food preparation activities in the operation of the food service department.
• Serves resident meals restaurant-style in the main dining room.
• Cleans and sanitizes the kitchen and dining area.
• Operates commercial dishwasher washes utensils pots and pans.

PREFERENCES:


Preference may be given to those who have a minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.


KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of food service and kitchens.
• Knowledge of food service equipment operation.
• Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation techniques.
• Knowledge of and ability to work at a consistent pace.
• Knowledge of skills and patience in communicating with elderly and disabled residents and possessing a positive attitude.

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work holidays evenings and/or weekends as scheduled.
• Be physically active throughout the day (i.e. walking stooping bending lifting).
• Must be able to handle all types of food groups including but not limited to poultry meat fish dairy products fruits vegetables spices and seasonings.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• FLSA: Non-Exempt
• The position is part-time.
• For the health and protection of our residents annual Tuberculosis testing is required.
• A background check including the taking of fingerprints will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation the Department of Family Services and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for every successful applicant.
