Salary:

HK$39485- HK$50373 (HGPS Point 16 21) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Perform clerical duties and provide administrative support to the Administrative Services Department in one or more of the following aspects:

- General Administration and Telecommunication

- Equipment Management

- Supporting Services

- Secretariat Support

2.

Co-ordinate the day-to-day work within the unit and between team members as the in-charge of the General Office.

3.

Prepare purchase orders with Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERPS).

4.

Compile analyze and interpret relevant statistics and data reports.

5.

Handle routine correspondence and enquiries.

6.

Supervise and coach clerical staff and supporting services staff in daily operation.

7.

Provide support to equipment maintenance and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) System at hospital level.

8.

Perform duties and work irregular working hours when necessary.

9.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Entry Requirements:

1.

(a) Passes in 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination including English Language (Syllabus B) Chinese Language and Mathematics or equivalent.

OR

(b) 5 subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education attaining the level specified below:

  • Level 2 in English Language Chinese Language and Mathematics; and
  • Level 2 in New Senior Secondary subjects / Attained in Applied Learning subjects / Grade E in Other Language subjects; or equivalent;

2.

7 years clerical experience with thorough understanding of the functions and operations in one or more of the following areas:

  1. General administration
  2. Filing and records keeping
  3. Supplies and stores
  4. Data input and analyses
  5. Typing word processing and/or Chinese word processing
  6. Telephone operation client communication and reception service

3.

Ability to organize work supervise a unit of staff and the activities within the related area(s).

4.

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Preferable Attributes / Exposure:

1.

Higher qualification at tertiary level.

2.

Good knowledge in computer application including Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Chinese word processing is an advantage.

3.

2-year experiences on digitalization workplace and smart initiative development

4.

Ability to motivate and lead a team of junior staff.

5.

Responsible self-motivated outgoing and able to work independently with good communication and interpersonal skills.

6.

Familiar with daily operation in a day hospital or clinic.

7.

Knowledge of other dialects (e.g. Mandarin) in the light of individual job requirement.

8.

Hands on experience in supervision on General Administration and Supporting Services.
