Pay: HK$158552 HK$182669 (HGPS Point 45 to 49) per month including Monthly Allowance
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead develop and manage the psychological service.
2. Supervise and give guidance to Clinical Psychologists.
3. Plan for the professional development and continuous training of Clinical Psychologists.
4. Formulate and implement policies and standards on psychological service.
5. Provide specialist advice on psychological matters.
6. Perform clinical duties.
7. Lead research in areas relevant to clinical work.
Entry Requirements:
1. A Masters or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from a local university; or equivalent.
2. 5 years experience as a Clinical Psychologist.
3. (a) Grade E in English Language (Syllabus B) and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination or equivalent.
OR
(b) Level 2 in English Language and Chinese Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education or equivalent.
4. Fluency in written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese.
Preferred Attributes / Exposure:
1. Work experience in the specialties of general adult psychiatry and other subspecialties in psychiatry.
2. A post-basic academic/professional qualification or clinical training.
3. A management qualification and/or experience.
4. Contribution to professional development including research teaching and training.
