Job Summary:
The Successfulcandidateoversees and supervises all daily liquid production operations to meet predetermined production schedules whilemaintainingan optimalbalance of quality service and efficiency to achieve operational excellence. They will ensure that all Production activities and production equipment areoperatedin accordance withBRC requirements as well as all Illes SOPs Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Safety Practices Qualitystandardsand time sequences. Partner conducts themselves in a manner that is aligned with Illes Foods Core Values:Operatewith Integrity Stay Intentionally Curious and Believe in the Power of the Partnership.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enforce safety GMP sanitation and food quality standards at all times.

  • Ensure operatorshave correctly documented the use ofraw materials containers and labelsper thebatch sheets; report discrepancies.

  • Document and report daily production schedule attainment

  • Lead roll-out and training of Productionmonitoring systems(MES). Maintain master data such asTmaxamong other data.

  • Ensure training of all direct reportsand temporary employeesis conducted and documented.

  • Manage temporary labor as defined by Production leadership.

  • Inventory equipment and parts reportneeds toleadership.

  • Provide input and/or conduct investigations through established methods (such as 5 whys)regardingfirst pass quality complaints food safety committeefinding audit findings safety investigationsandforoperational needs.

  • Monitor production equipment and HMI systems to ensure efficient compliant operations.

  • Inspect ingredients and finished products for quality; coordinate sample testing with QA.

  • UseRiteTime Ross and related systems to enter data complete outputs and move goods.

  • Prepareaccurateproduction and QA reports;maintaininspection-ready status.

  • Calculate labor/equipmentneeds andevaluate production data.

  • Collaborate with Maintenance Warehouse Production Planning and Food Safety and Quality to ensure equipment is functioning properly materials are moved and stages appropriately the schedule is in alignment with expectations and the food is manufactured under strict adherence to Food Safety standards and expectations.

  • Attend new product and operations readiness meetings for new products; be the liaison for operators and Innovation partners for new product production.

  • Maintain accountability for all direction reports; execute disciplinary actions as needed.

  • Communicate professionally andparticipatein ongoing training and development.

  • Maintain regular attendance and fulfill other duties as assigned including supervisor tasks listed in FM HR-0008.

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act asbackupfor the Liquid Operations Team Leader when needed.

  • Accurately add materials per batch instructions andoperateequipment safely.

  • Operate production and packaging machinery including forklifts and powered equipment.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Management of Personnel Resources Key to leading motivating and developing team members effectively.

  • Monitoring Ensures product quality equipment performance and operational standards are consistently met.

  • Initiative Vital for proactively addressing issues improving processes and driving team performance.

  • Coordination Necessary for aligning team efforts and ensuring seamless workflow across departments.

Experience & Education:

Bachelors degree preferred (or working towards one) Food industry experiencerequiredwith 2 to 3 years experience supervising and leading a team in the food industry

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Lifting:Ability to continuously lift weights up to 55 lbs. vertically.

  • Carrying:Ability to continuously carry up to 55 lbs. to distances up to 70 in.

  • Push-Pull:Able to transfer up to 100 lbs. on a sled up todistances of 45ft (no repetitions.

  • Repetitive Coupling:Ability to continuously squeeze Jamer hand Dynamometerrequiringforces up to 10 lbs.

  • Climbing:Ability to continuously ascend and descend a step with a height of 8 in.

  • Temperatures: Varies from 55 to 110 degrees
