This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong engineer with experience in the design and coordination of wet utility and building services infrastructure projects across commercial industrial and large-scale developments.
Duties & Responsibilities
Minimum Requirements
- BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Professionally Registered with ECSA as a Pr Eng
- Minimum 5 years experience in wet services engineering
- Proven experience in plumbing drainage fire protection water reticulation and sewer infrastructure design
- Strong knowledge of relevant South African building regulations and engineering standards
- Experience working on multidisciplinary projects
- Proficient in engineering design software and preparation of technical documentation
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites when required
Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage wet services systems for building and infrastructure projects
- Prepare technical reports specifications drawings and tender documentation
- Coordinate with architects contractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Conduct site inspections and oversee installation quality and compliance
- Ensure projects are delivered within scope budget and timeline requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance where required
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
