Your Role

• Design and support the design of building mechanical systems (plumbing heating cooling ventilation controls) in compliance with energy efficiency and sustainability standards within a strong and skilled project team and an effective technological environment.

• Prepare and review drawings specifications and technical reports while providing technical support to project managers and design teams.

• Perform design-related calculations and cost estimates for construction work.

• Carry out coordination and site follow-up including monitoring construction activities and resolving technical issues.

• Coordinate the work of the multidisciplinary building mechanical and electrical design team to ensure compliance with client requirements project schedules and budgets.

• Coordinate all project activities (technical contractual and financial) and ensure communication with the client in collaboration with project directors.

• Assess risks and propose optimal strategies to ensure project success.

About You

• Holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).

• Has at least 5 years of relevant experience in building Mechanical engineering within a consulting engineering firm.

• Has relevant experience in project coordination.

• Microsoft Office AutoCAD Revit.

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $90000 - $130000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills experience and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
